UEMOA zone · West Africa
Abidjan, and eight countries under one law
UEMOA shares OHADA’s uniform law and the same chart of accounts with CEMAC — but not the same currency. The West African CFA franc is a distinct currency from the Central African one, despite their peg. Our quotes say so: XOF, never “FCFA”.

West African CFA franc. A different currency from XAF.
The same as in CEMAC: OHADA covers both zones.
And Portuguese for Guinea-Bissau.
Abidjan stays on Greenwich time all year round.
The countries served from Abidjan
Eight states, a shared central bank and the same uniform law as Central Africa. For a client that means a contract signed in Abidjan reads in Dakar or Lomé with no legal adaptation.

- Benin
- Burkina Faso

Who you contract with
Being incorporatedThe Ivorian company is being incorporated. Until it is entered on the Abidjan RCCM register, our French entity issues the quote, signs the contract and invoices — in XOF, with no exchange costs on your side.

What we do there
Bespoke work
The same catalogue as in Cameroon and in France. The teams travel from Yaoundé while Abidjan ramps up.
Konseo, unchanged
The chart of accounts is the same as in CEMAC: only the currency differs. An Ivorian SME uses it as is.
Hosting and upkeep
Go-live, backups, security patches. And someone who speaks your language during your office hours.
The same accounting as in the CEMAC zone — revised SYSCOHADA, in XOF. This is the one zone where Konseo needs no particular setup.
